when i received my new lecture notes and lab manual, i was intimidated by the thickness of it.

Then when i attented the 1st lec on molecular bio of the cell by an some Dr 'Ang moh' who speaks so not clearly, i wonder how will i understand the subsequent lectures. SCIE1106 is so demanding :(

before every lec, we must do some read-ups cos there will be pre-lec test to see your understanding of the chapt even before they teach you anything. Also, there is pre-lab quiz and for all tutorials, there would be test on the chapts covered for the entire week.

All these, makes me fear what's coming.

Zhide was saying some random things that night and he did mention this phrase "Courage is not acting in the absence of fear, but it's acting despite your fears."

i understood this line better when Anting told me yesterday that she is retaking her A-level this year. Thinking back, it has been 2yrs since we graduated from Jc and till now, the unacceptable disappointment of the a'level result still bothers her. i guess certain disappointment just cannot be forgotten no matter how hard you try. Time just allows it to be placed at the back of your head. Same goes for my a'level results. i supposed it takes courage to remain happy when storm clouds are threatening. It takes alot more courage to remain happy and be optimistic when your life is in a downturn.

And honestly speaking, I'm really happy for Anting that she found the courage to fight for what she has lost and i believe this time she will be able to do beyond what she thought she could. She no longer has to envy every batches whenever it comes to the a'level result release day.

this also reminds me i must start physo-ing myself everyday to be consistent to do well.
