The not so yet a season finale

all the hassle and get-busy to prepare for the Chinese new year finally dies down a little since it's already the 3rd day and almost everyone has returned to their routine be it halfheartedly or wholeheartedly. guess no one is really into working after this long but not-so-long holiday.

this year i'm so guai. i didn't gamble at all!! probably bcos i'm always in a rush to travel from one place to the other and meeting jianliang which equates to no gambling. house visiting can be quite tiring but i wonder if some days, i would decide to go for a short holiday during this season. i used to love this season but not so much anymore. i don't really care about the ang pows, the food, the gambling etc. But nevertheless, i still strive to maintain this circle of practices to keep up the relationship between extended family.

Ydae 小姑 and family came my house early in the morning when i'm still in my pyjamas. we had so much fun eating 开心果 and laughing, ignoring the man who was in the same living room-dad, who is preaching some etiquettes thing to me and my sister. ah! who wants to hear that early in the morning right? ha!

we then moved on to my maternal side of relatives and the distance was really agonisingly long. It's in bukit gombak. reached there and had my lunch and after singing happy bdae song and had the cake for 2nd aunt, i left early to meet my darling in bishan. Train stopped in track for about 5mins due to some obstruction and it scare the wits out of me. i seriously don't want get stuck on the stuffy train on cny. In anyway, it's just me being paranoid.

i met him, went to his place and then to his aunt's place. The steamboat session was fabulous. i had my prawns peeled without having to dirty my fingers. ha! i bullied someone thats to say. but it's only 2 prawns lor! more next time *evil grin*

that pratically sum up my 2nd day of cny. As for the 1st day, lazy to type. i'm going to teach tuition in awhile time. And i've got a wish this cny. i wish everyone in my family would be present every year. my granny esp. it would then be a joyous cny year after year.
