Growing up

it's another year where the birthday of myself is around the corner and ppl start to question what you actually want as gift. For many years, i've told my friends to write me just a card but never once did they take my words for real and nobody did that sincerely like write real messages for you. they usually buy a really nice card and write: to who, sign off and yeah write abit of those standard words that i've read many many times. Can be rather cliche and insincere. ok, probably insincere shldn't be the word cos i guess we've written too much bdae cards and we've ran out of ideas what to wish the other party or prob we don't know what else to say since we hadn't met for a long long time.

Aiya, i just feel it's rather heartwarming esp if you receive a card air flown from a foreign land somewhere around the globe. oh, btw the price of card has really increase by quite abit!! Was shocked when i shopped for 2 cards on Sat day.

And to celebrate bdae means i've grown another year older. Growing up means more hurdles to clear, more responsibility and decision making. At certain point i always question where am i heading towards in life and i get abit lost here and there. I don't rmb i have such worries when i was younger. That's probably the very vast difference other than those obvious appearance diff like more chui-looking, more yellow skin, drier hair etc.

hahaha, to cut things short, i'm not very much looking forward to my bdae actually. Cos immediately the following day, i have my piano mock exam. And if you really want give me gifts, just give me food vouchers or shopping vouchers will do. or don't even give. just come my bbq!!
i want to share my joy and bring my love ones to eat, to buy whatever they need cos joy is doubled when shared :)) or oh yeah, give me an air ticket to countries like HK, Taiwan, BJ!! i don't want study la. i want holiday!!
